Flooding on the Ole’ Mississippi

These pictures were taken a few days ago, but they do a good job of showing the amount of flooding that has occurred here on the Mississippi River in Warsaw.

  1. Rev. James Leistico says:

oh, goodie. all of that water has to come down our way… not that we live on the mighty Miss, but our Kaskaskia backs up when it can’t drain. The home of one of my members is fine – he just can’t get to it because the Kaskaskia is already out of its banks and flooding his road.

  2. The Dali Lutheran says:

It is unbelievable, to me, how much water it takes to make the Mighty Miss’ flood, especially to the extent your pictures show.

The angels rolled open the floodgates of heaven just a crack. There is a rainbow hook that won’t let them open any further.
